About Bunny (Kelley Ahlstrom)
Kelley Ahlstrom, known as Bunny, has been providing private piano and voice lessons since 2013. Initially teaching at Clarendon Hills Music Academy in the Chicago area, she has now moved to the Pacific Northwest and established her own online studio. Holding a bachelor's degree in music and possessing extensive teaching and performance experience, Bunny is well-equipped to help you achieve your musical goals.
During Bunny's career thus far, she has had the incredible opportunity to tour with the esteemed piano bar company, Howl at the Moon, for several years. This experience allowed her to connect with diverse audiences and refine her skills as a performer. Additionally, Bunny has had the privilege of playing at numerous other piano bars across the country, further expanding her musical repertoire and honing of her craft.
In addition to her performance background, she had the honor of being a contestant on Oxygen's reality TV show, The Glee Project Season 2. This experience provided her with valuable insights into the music industry and allowed Bunny to showcase her passion for music on a national platform. Drawing from real-life musician experience and technical training in music from Columbia College Chicago, Bunny is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive learning experience. Whether you are interested in pursuing a professional career in music or simply exploring music as a hobby, Bunny caters to students of all ages and skill levels. Why Bunny? What's up with the rabbits, man?
Kelley is deeply passionate about rabbits and shares her home with two beloved bunnies, Benji and Tuvok. Recognizing that rabbits are often abandoned or mistreated, she is committed to establishing a sanctuary to care for those in need—whether due to medical challenges, rescue from testing, or other circumstances. Kelley is currently raising funds to support this initiative.
